lots of people usually lose their connection, but in every giveaway I have done I have seen at least 1 person win it without losing connection. If there is a time when no one wins it, because of connection lost. I will probably stop giveaways.
The only thing I hate about giveaways, is when you lose connection. It is so sad when people tell me they unlocked items but had to give them up because of connection loss :(
